Free tools — single-use, in your browser

Drag a file, get a result. 6 commodity utilities for PDF, OCR, and format conversion — all run client-side, nothing ever leaves your device. For recurring or schema-aware extraction, see the dashboard.

Files stay local

Every tool runs in your browser via pdf.js, Tesseract.js, or SheetJS. Zero outbound requests during processing.

No signup, no rate limit

Open the page, drag a file, you're done. We don't gate behind email capture or trial countdown.

Single-use by design

For batch processing, recurring workflows, or schema-aware extraction, use the AI extractor — these tools won't scale past one file at a time.

Frequently asked questions

Why are these tools free?
Each tool runs entirely in your browser using open libraries (pdf.js, Tesseract.js, SheetJS). There's no server cost on our side, so we don't charge. The trade-off: each tool is single-use — drag a file, get a result. For recurring or batch workflows, you'd want Parsli's AI extraction (10 free pages when you sign up).
How are these different from the AI extraction at parsli.co/dashboard?
These tools are commodity utilities — predictable input, predictable output, no setup. The AI extraction at /dashboard takes any document, runs Gemini 2.5 Pro against a custom schema you define, and returns labeled fields (vendor, total, line items, etc.) instead of raw text or generic CSV. Use a tool here for a one-off; use the AI extractor when you need the same fields out of every document.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The conversion or OCR runs in your browser tab — files never leave your device. Network tab will confirm: zero outbound requests during processing. This is a meaningful difference from Smallpdf, iLovePDF, and most online converters, which upload to their servers.
What's the file size limit?
Most tools cap at 20 MB. The limit exists because browser memory is finite — large PDFs with embedded images can OOM the tab. For larger files, use the AI extractor in the dashboard (no size cap on paid plans).
Which tool should I use to extract invoice data?
For invoice extraction with vendor, totals, and line items returned as labeled fields, use the AI invoice parser — drop the PDF in and get structured data, no template setup. For a one-off PDF table dump, the PDF to Excel converter handles the table extraction in your browser.
