[00:00] Hi, welcome to Parsli. Parsli helps you automate any document process — it extracts structured data from any kind of document without any additional training.

[00:16] You have the option to add fields manually. Say you're working with invoices — you need to extract the invoice number, then define the type of data to extract. An invoice number can contain a mix of numbers and letters, so that's the field type to use.

[00:44] For the total amount, the field type is decimal. If you want to extract both the number and the currency, you can either add a separate field for the currency, or add it as a table — with columns for the amount (decimal) and the currency.

[01:30] Another option is AI-detected fields: Parsli looks at the kind of document you're working with and extracts the fields it thinks you need. There are also predefined templates for common documents — invoices, letters, tax papers, and more.
